GPK Auctions is proud to present the 47th annual Atlantic City Auction & Car Show. The auctions has grown to be an annual three day event auctioning off over 400 cars in the spacious 500,000 sq ft. state-of-the-art Atlantic City Convention Center. Along with the auction, guests are able to enjoy a wide variety of vendors, a vast array of vehicles available for sale in the car corral, and the best casinos, restaurants, and shopping that Atlantic City has to offer.

PRICING & COMMISSIONS

You must register with GPK Auctions if you are planning to bid on auction vehicles. To register as a bidder you must complete a Bidder Contract and provide the necessary proof of credit. All Registered Bidders will be entered into our Daily CASH Prize Drawing!

Sellers Commission is 8%

Entry fee does not apply to commissions

Buyer's Premium

The Buyer’s Premium is 8% for all VEHICLE sales will be added to the hammer price at the time of settlement.

The Buyer’s Premium is 15% for all MEMORABILIA sales and will be added to the hammer price at the time of settlement.

Telephone Bidding

To bid via telephone you must register 48 hours prior to the sale. Please be aware that if you choose to bid via the telephone there are different requirements when registering. Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions Agreement before registering as a telephone bidder. If you are a phone bidder, it is your responsiblity to accept incoming calls from GPK Auctions. If GPK Auctions cannot reach you at the number(s) you provide, you will forfeit your opportunity to bid. Please contact us to make arrangements with GPK Auctions to register as a telephone bidder.

Methods of Payment

  1. LETTER OF GUARANTEE: If you plan to use Personal / Company / Stockbroker Checks or Wire Transfers, a current Letter of Guarantee from your bank or stockbroker is REQUIRED. The LOG must reference the specific account number for the check you plan to use for payment. Checks written from another bank or investment account will NOT be accepted. Routing number for Wire Transfer will be supplied at settlement.

  2. CASHIER’S / BANK CHECKS: If you plan to use Cashier’s or Bank Checks, they must be made payable to G. Potter King, Inc. and 10% of your accepted bidding limit must be posted as a deposit when you pick up your credentials. If vehicles are purchased, the deposit will be applied and the balance is due at Settlement within one (1) hour of the sale. If no purchases are made, the deposit can be picked up in the Auction office when Bidder credentials are turned in.
  3. CREDIT CARDS: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. An authorization HOLD will be placed on the credit card for the amount of your accepted bidding limit when you pick up your credentials. When using a credit card, you will be charged a 2% processing fee.

All vehicles are offered “as is/where is”. We encourage you to carefully read the conditions as posted on each vehicle. GPK Auctions only expresses the conditions of each vehicle as provided by the owner.

GPK Auctions is not an auctioneer; the Auction Team is hired by GPK Auctions to conduct the auction. They are fully licensed as independent auctioneers. Neither GPK Auctions nor the Auction Team warrants the authenticity of any vehicle other than that expressed by its owner.

You and GPK Auctions agree upon a reserve price for your vehicle. That means your vehicle cannot be sold for less than the agreed upon price without your consent. You may lower your reserve at the auction block if you so desire. If you do lower your reserve, it does not qualify your vehicle as a no-reserve car. Vehicles entered with NO RESERVE pay NO ENTRY FEE. You cannot change your status from a no reserve to a reserve vehicle once your contract is signed. All no reserve vehicles are listed as such in all advertising and brochures.

The purchase of a Car Corral space allows you to showcase your vehicle for sale for the duration of the event.

– All sales are handled directly between the buyer and seller.

Auction Placement

Your vehicle is assigned a lot number according to a number of different considerations. Among these considerations are: quality of vehicle, desirability, reserve status and vehicle type. GPK Auctions assigns all lot numbers and reserves the final determination. Remember, the earlier you consign your vehicle the longer it will be listed in the inventory section of our website.

REMEMBER:

  • ALL TITLES AND/OR REGISTRATIONS MUST BE IN THE SELLER’S NAME. Licensed dealers are excluded. You will not be permitted to sell any vehicle without a Title or Registration.
  • If you plan on transporting your vehicle from outside the U.S., CLEARANCE PAPERS MUST BE OBTAINED AT THE BORDER AND SUBMITTED WITH YOUR CONTRACT

Conditions of Sale

GPK Auctions is not an auctioneer, the Auction Team is hired by GPK Auctions to conduct the auction. They are fully licensed as independent auctioneers. Neither GPK Auctions nor the Auction Team warrants the authenticity of any vehicle other than that expressed by its owner.

Sellers are warned not to make any claims that are not true or do not represent the vehicle as presented. Any misrepresentations of fact by the seller will result in cancellation of sale.

The purchase of a Vendor booth allows you to showcase your merchandise for sale for the duration of the event. Spaces include admission for you and one guest. You must complete a Vendor Contract to register. All spaces are 15 x 10.

NEW Vendor Floor Plan for 2018! Vendors will have more frontage space with NO additional cost! With the Auction Block in the center of the building, the Vendors will continue to enjoy more action and a larger crowd.
